SWS is one of the largest, most diverse, and strategically positioned environmental services companies in the United States. Currently operating from 29 service centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas, we have more than 450 personnel and own & operate more than 700 pieces of rolling stock. SWS has united two market leaders and created an environmental services company with expertise in planned remediation, land- and water-based emergency response, industrial services, demolition, training, and technical services. On average, we respond to over 3,000 emergency or disaster response incidents per year and professionally and safely manage each and every one with skill and expertise.
Non-emergency projects consist of anything and everything environmentally related, including plant decommissioning and demolition, tank cleaning, OSHA training, waste transportation and disposal, vacuum trucks services, confined space entry, landfill cap and construction, environmental restoration, dredging, solidification, and containment systems.
Response teams and management personnel have handled incidents in almost every state, as well as locations worldwide. From Puerto Rico and Bolivia to Venezuela and most recently Iraq, we provide global response services to our clients when needed and wherever needed. Utilizing the now combined equipment and resources exceeding $30,000,000, SWS can undertake projects of virtually any size, scope and duration.

SWS Environmental Services has 17 service centers across the eastern United States that are approved 10-day transfer and storage facilities. We are registered and authorized to commence hazardous waste transfer and storage operations allowing containers and trucks in and out of our service centers. As transporters accepting hazardous waste from generators or other transporters, we can hold the waste for up to 10 days during the transportation process.

As a transporter of hazardous waste, we comply with EPA and DOT regulations, meaning we maintain an EPA ID number, comply with the waste manifest system and properly handle hazardous waste discharges if and when they occur. Also, designated locations are open to regular inspections and reviews conducted by regulatory and government agencies. These inspections ensure that our 10-day transfer and storage facilities are fully compliant with all laws, regulations and internal standards, ranging from employee health and safety to operations standards and codes.
