Wastebits Platform Update: Enhanced Waste Stream Creation with Flagging Custom Parameters

We are excited to announce the release of a new feature on the Wastebits platform that significantly improves the waste stream creation process. With this update, users and waste approvers will be able to immediately identify values that fall outside of acceptable parameters during the creation of a waste stream.

Flagging Custom Parameters

Real-Time Validation: As users input data, the system now checks values against pre-set acceptable ranges and codes.
Instant Feedback: If a value such as a waste code is not accepted, or if a numerical value falls outside the acceptable range, it will be highlighted within the details view.
Guidance for Correction: The application not only flags these values but also provides an opportunity for users to adjust them in real-time, reducing the risk of errors and rejections.
Streamlined Process: This feature aims to make the waste stream creation process more intuitive, helping users to comply with regulations and internal standards without needing to refer to external documents or support.

How It Works

Upon entering a data point that does not conform to the pre-defined acceptable parameters, the field will be immediately highlighted in the details view.
A message will display, explaining why the value is unacceptable and what range or codes are allowed.
Users can then adjust the value to fit within the acceptable parameters before submitting the waste stream for processing.

Getting Started

Current users will see these changes reflected immediately upon their next waste stream creation. There is no action required to activate this feature.
